Distortion is distortion. You can adapt it. Anyways i always release the original one before edit it with guitar rig.

To me it sounds great, congrats. Many people does not understand distortion is an effect produced by an effects processor or pedal and that is not produced by the guitar, it can be aplied to almost everything. Also electric violin was invented some years before the electric guitar...
I know how hard is to mathc a nice distortion with an acoustic body violin. Good work.

i tried this for a few minutes and immediately got bored.
you don't need a violin to get this particular sound.

Of course not, but some people dont know how to play other instruments. Its a good option for them (me).
