what is that black thing wrapped around the strings just after the nut man, see that shit all the time, what do you do it for ?

@MDSphinx thanks, i think this guitar is really good value for it's price. built well and plays good. i had to work on the action when i got it because it was too high but its good now. the rest are good. stays in tune and the frets are excellent. i plan to change to better pick ups in the future. the black thing is just a hair tie. its used mainly when you do a lot of tapping so the other strings wont ring out. i rarely use it though.

Yeah sometimes some guitar actions suck but can easily be sorted,

well it sounds awesome anyway man, i mainly play in c sharp and b but will be buying this guitar just for e and d tunings,
