The NASA causeway is 6 miles from the launch pad. Even at that distance, the enormity of the blast off is overwhelming. Our only regret is we never watched a shuttle launch from the causeway before now. Even the booster seperation is visible along with them falling back down to earth.

Shot with a Canon ZR500 at maximum zoom and extremely steady hands.
