@HaedongKumdoIsaLie Hey there. The guy you referred me to with my questions hasn't gotten back to me quite yet. Not a big deal though. Anyway, "KSW is a cult" is going a bit far. They may be lying about their history. They have a couple of questionable policies. But it's not nearly "cult" status. You're doing good by trying to get people aware of real history. But this is a real style, regardless of it's origins and when practiced correctly, it can be a good self defense tool

Kuk Sool Won was made by gathering the elements of Japanese and Chinese martial arts in recent years. That's mere aggregation of elements. Despite that fact, they call the stuff they are doing "traditional martial art". Nothing except for fake.

@HaedongKumdoIsaLie Kuk Sool Won is not fake nor is it a cult, the easiest way to describe it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this, is as a family. Try looking at some of the other things we do and you will see such a variety which is nothing like chinese wushu.
