Flo Jo had several seisures because of the drug abuse and they dont want to reveal it and take away her medal and give them to the other competitors who deserved it. Her times need to go to and merlene time in the 200m need to be the world record,

Just her sheer longevity and accomplishement has made her a living track legend. For the drugs that everyone is talking about she tested positve 3 times but why after testing positve the sample ended up test negative, faul play!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that a lot of athlete were talking band substances that were not on the list untill later done to enhance there performances. Merlene Ottey is the greatest. I am sure that FLo Jo was taking drugs that were not on the band list to enhance her performce

For all y'all information Merlene Ottey was never kicked out of Jamaica.. She was to retire at 36 in after the 1996 olympic games but she was still fit enough to make the team in 2000 and at the time Jamaica young sprinters were in the making and Merlene was well aware of that fact. She was married to her coach which is slovenian and they didnt have a team so she went to help slovenia out. After that they put up a statue in honour of he bachk in Jamaica at the National studium and celebrate her

Merlene Ottey test positive 3 times during the 1999 season, when at the world championships that year in Seville Spain, news of the second positive test was released and she fled. At a meet on July5,1999 in Luceren Switerland, she tested positive for nandrolone, both A & B samples tested positive.
