I have been following politics closely for almost 25 years and I have never enjoyed a sweeter moment when someone shoved it in the Democrats' hypocrtical faces so beautifully. To all those who tried to destroy Clarence Thomas, you lost, we won. Almost 20 years later he is still a reliable conservative vote on the Supreme Court. Up your asses with a red hot poker.

He allegedly sexually harassed annita hill. He is not intelligent enough or either he was too embarassed to defend himself.

Yo I'm a Republican but I'm not exactly sure what he's referring to?

This was not a high tech lynching and mr. thomas you dont think for yourself. Seeing how you never said a word during a debate in 5 years and only vote for right wing policies, I highly doubt your even thinking at all.

@bapyou Remember that party where Dr. King said that people should not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character? I guess you black supremacist bastards forgot that part. You are the moron. You defend Charlie Rangel and other racebaiters from the Black Supremacist Caucus. You play the race card like the little bitch you are. And you still defend Tawana Brawley.
-
The fascist liberals who didn't want Clarence Thomas or Thurgood Marshall as SUpreme Court justices played the race card when it came to Sonia Sotomayor.
-
@bapyou Typical Democrat. You need to invent racism for sympathy. I guess you didn't learn from the Duke lacrosse rape hoax.

@MediaMayhem Yes in the 1950's and early 1960's before JFK was shot their were politians called Dixiecrats. After 1963 with the signing of the Civil Rights Act by Democrate LBJ and first thought up by JFK the south became majority republican

You tell those idiots Clarence. Tell them that your Kow Towing won't start until you are confirmed.
@bapyou, the weasel Lib...
The Voting Rights Act (1965 btw)
Senate: 77–19
* Democrats: 47–17 (73%-27%)
* Republicans: 30–2 (94%-6%)
House: 333–85
* Democrats: 221–61 (78%-22%)
* Republicans: 112–24 (82%-18%)
That makes Republicans the majority vote, dickhead.
Since 1933 over 80% of major civil rights votes were opposed by a majority of Democrats, and consequently, favored by 96% of Republicans. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican as well as most blacks at that time.

Furthermore, MLK was a Republican? Yeah? And how 'bout, on that weekend before health care was passed & all those Republican Conservative tea-baggers calling those black Congressman nigger on the streets of Washington? What that a great display of love for your fellow Americans. And what about all those red-staters who, a year and a half later, still can't get over the fact that there's a "nigger family" in the Whitehouse? How come we don't see some of that good old racism for Clarence Thomas?

@bapyou, slop-mouthed racist.
There's no need to use that language here, big mouth. It's always apparent to me that those who cry wolf as loud as you are usually the perpetrators of their own alleged grievances. I've never heard or read that sort of garbage which you're full of; your deep-seeded malady. Be gone and go back to the chorus of lying self-righteous Lefties.

How is scuttling a nomination lynching? Doesn't lynching involve murdering someone?
I agree that neither Democrat or Republican are without blood on their hands, but why the fear-mongering?

"It is a high-tech lynching."
Justice Thomas was using the word lynching metaphorically, just as you said, "without blood on their hands". That's called a metaphor. And I think it was apropos.
The real fear mongering kicks in when the Left speak about another possible Conservative Supreme Court judge, or Conservative judges altogether.

Look I'm an independent, but worrying about a Conservative Supreme Court (that would likely overturn Roe v Wade) is a legitimate issue for some. It's not fear-mongering.
This terrorist, marxist, muslim, socialist, communist, arab, "Who is he?" shit is definitely fear-mongering. I refuse to vote based on fear, and that's one of the many reasons I'm voting Obama this time around.

Is being worrisome over a Left leaning Supreme Court not legitimate then? But that was not the issue here... you're trying to legitimize the behavior and acts of the Left unfairly maligning Thomas.
If we could apply the same background of Obama and comments made over time by Obama to McCain, do you honestly believe he would be received in the same manner as Obama? Birds of a feather flock together. But now He "loves this country", right?
