Sir/Madam, I agree strongly: there is no evidence what so ever that Herr Mozart tried to imitate the transvestite comedian Eddy Izzard. Yet surely the cloths, the fondness for makeup, the need for meaningless trinkets and finally the sibilant lisp can all hint for a secret life that no biographer has managed to encapsulate - as yet?
