The Luidia eBeam enables any white surface to become a digitial surface. You've gotta see this to understand it and you can learn more at http://www.luidia.com/ At $750 it's a bit pricey, but that's a lot cheaper than other solutions I've seen in the past. Here Jody Forehand, Luidia's VP of Product Planning and Rafi Holtzman, CEO, show me how it works.
Interesting technology. Who invented this clever device?

Great looking product. I may have missed it but, you can see everything if you join a meeting with their software but did they say anything about exporting drawings or designs into other programs so they can be saved and sent to people later?

Very nice. I worked on a SMARTboard (@SMARTCollab) last week and this looks easier and more portable.

This is much better than an overhead projector because you can connect it to data conferencing for free and immediately see what is happening.

But you can do this already, with an overhead projector. The difference is that you're writing on the screen itself rather than writing on the overhead or the laptop connected to the screen. It's nice but I don't see it a a huge improvement?
