University: it's a woman thing

Female University Enrolment Exceeds Male
Today, 59 per cent of Canadian undergrads are women. Almost every faculty and school has undergone a sex change - including the social sciences (68 per cent female) and English (83 per cent female). Professional programs are moving in the same direction. Med school grads? 59 per cent women. Law school? 53 per cent. Newly chartered accountants? 51 per cent.

Only engineering, computer science and the physical sciences remain strongholds for men at the undergraduate level. And just three male bastions in higher education are left: the University of Waterloo (54 per cent male), the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (58 per cent male) and - big surprise - Kingston's Royal Military College (78 per cent male).

WOMEN university students now outnumber men across all subject areas, from engineering to medicine and law to physical sciences.

New figures from Universities UK showing that 57 per cent of all students are women demonstrate the remarkable progress that girls and women have made in the education system since campaigners against female entry to universities in the late 19th century argued that the overeducation of women could lead to sterility, brain damage and nervous collapse.

Its reality, who does your manual labour jobs? Who comprises the bulk of any military? Have women fill those roles to an equal proportion and you'll have things equal back out.

You can start making money 4 years soon and don't have to worry about student loans afterwards either.

Wow, here is a question for you. If men in Canada be less educated than women, will you still love your man? In America it's a lot easier for a women to get a job than men. Men do more Manuel labor. And woman do more office business. They have a better education. Does this mean will see a baby birth crisis in the near future like what is in Japan is right now? One problem in Japan is feminist wants to do everything a man do. So now they have a birth problem. Looks like the west culture is next.

Who cares? Men are being outperformed because society has removed the patriarchal dominance they reveled in for hundreds of years. I guess women ain't so stupid no, huh? Female predominence in universities can easily be linked to the simple fact that women are more likely to be accepted, even with the same grades as a male candidate. It's ridiculous. And not to mention, 57:50 is a fairly even ratio...

University is mostly a scam. A person can get a better education from elsewhere. Drawing conclusions from such a small set of numbers is detrimental to your perception of reality.

People have since worked out the reason why women earn less in the workplace is because women tend not to know how to move up the promotion chain. men are much more forceful in asking/begging for that promotion.

What are you talking about? What do you mean women get More education but make less money then men? So you are saying if a woman went to grad school and a man only finished with an undergrad degree the man would still make more money? That is not true. Although comparing degrees ie. womans study degree to engineering, of course an engineer will make more money because their degree was more difficult to obtain.

In third world countries men often go through more mortal and daily voilence against them than women.

Women get custody of children in divorce court at least 90% of the time even if the woman is unsatisfactory as a mother.

There more female pedophiles than most people think there are.

Women cause more physical harm in DV cases due to them usually attacking with a weapon.

I hate to break the truth to you but.....

CDC has came out and said that women are more prone to violence in relationships than men...and 70% of men hitting women, the woman struck the man first. What the Empowerment club doesn't tell you in the news is that Rihanna struck Chris Brown (at least) 4 times before he 'assaulted' her.

The wage gap has been debunked concernng equal pay for equal work over a year ago.
