Pokemon XD - Battle CD 27 Solution

2-turns to knock out all opposing Pokémon. And first turn they use Safeguard, so 1 turn to knock them out. Yeesh.
Yet another battle where attacking your ally is the key to victory. This is a strange one and the solution will probably not make sense to you at first. The key in this battle is the Hitmonlee, as he is used in both turn 1 and turn 2. On the second turn he uses "Foresight" which makes the Ghost type Pokémon it is used on take damage from normal attacks. Not just attacks from the using Pokémon. Why this is important will become obvious.

when i tackled porygon i kept getting a steel instead of ghost]

I just got lucky getting Ghost. You turn into a type Super-Resistant to the one used on you. If there are more then one, it's random. The times I turned Steel Porygon still survived, so it isn't an issue.

Conversion 2 is a move that makes Porygon turn into a type that is resistant to the last attack he received. He tackled Pory-2 so after using the move it would become resistant to normal moves (like Selfdestruct). He could become rock, steel or ghost type. Any of them would easily survive that blow from Graveler. That´s the solution!

That doesn't make sense in the advice it said that conversion two turned porygon into the type that attacked it not the type that was resistant to it.

lol im pretty sure i used hi jump kick and porygon2 converted to ghost type and i won with the rest. took me a little while to figure out though
