@anaki71 i think that their wear masks because their lungs are too weak to breath the nasty atmosphere of their planet, and the years make them unable to breath in any condicion widouth the mask. (also is posible that in ¿Helgan? the atmosphere contains a level too hight of Oxigen, and their delicate eyes and lungs will get burn with all that oxigen)

@anaki71 you mean that there is too much oxigen in the atmosphere and their lungs are weak to breath it all (their lung will burn), if the oxygen (OXYGEN that all mankind including this ones needs to live) kill them is ridicoulous
