"The Belle-Phonics began in 2008, originally started by Max McHenry, as a Soul/Dap/ band playing music of Sharon Jones, Archie Bell and the Drells as well as some original material from Max. Since then, the band has changed into what is now, Adelaide's new up and coming original Pop/Funk/Rock outfit. Boasting a mega horn line up (Jason McMahon, Eric 'Tooch' Santucci, Natalie Ahrens), solid rhythm section (Sam Leske, Liam Garcia-Hardman, Brett Williams, Holly Thomas), and the unique vocal talents of Ali White, the Belle-Phonics have played many packed out performances to crowds at Adelaide's top live funk venues."
"The EP features 5 tracks of original tunes from past and present members of the Belle-Phonics. Recorded at Chapel Lane Studios and mixed by Paul White (Goose, Hammond Eggs Trio), this punchy, raw EP will leave fans wanting more. The Belle-Phonics are currently writing for an album release in 2011"
