Fact: The voice on KMBC during the entire time they used this news package was a man named Drew Dimmel. Dimmel was also the weekend weatherman at the station from 1986-91.
Dimmel continued voicing KMBC sponsorship tags until 2009, when he retired with Parkinson's, and had a national VO career out of focusing on Sinclair Broadcast Group stations. He also did VOs for the KC airport. He was based out of Overland Park, KS.
