everyone's hair is different so that might work for your hair..i dont always put in a leave in conditioner , i apply other products that i know will give me the results i am looking for.. good luck

This looks really nice. I've been looking for ideas for my hair. I;d like to try this but my hair's almost 6 inches long now and I worry that the twists will stick out all over the place, especially after sleeping. You have any suggestions for this?

@GottaLuvHeroes the hair usually shrinks and falls into place.. i would try to do it in smaller sections to keep it from sticking up everywhere.. at night i would wrap it with a satin cap or bonnet.
