This video is about the heroic traits that is present in each one of us and the involvement of Gawd Kalinga (GK) in the relief efforts. The real hero steps up when needed the most. Last September, disaster struck as typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) hit the Philippine shores. The destruction was non-discriminating. The rich and the poor alike were impacted. Heroism is also non-discriminating!!! As the flood waters subsided, heroes from all walks of life emerged, with selfless courage of wanting to help.
This video is only a snippet of what actually transpired on the ground.
GK and it's army of volunteers once again answered the call for help. Heroes on the ground. You know who you are. THANK YOU!

6058 GK volunteers stepped up
In 12 days of operation Walang Iwanan (Leave no one behind) GK was able to distribute:
195,130 food packs to 44 barangays in 16 towns and cities. With it's infrastructure in place, GK was able to effectively reach areas that were unreachable, courtesy of the military who put their resources as needed to assist,
