Such power, such interpretation. I can really share the emotion in this rendition. I love Streisand's voice and I am somehow envious of the special tribal empathy the Jews share. This song oozes respect and love for family. A superbly emotive and heart wrenching song.

God, this song simply breaks my heart... Michel Legrand is an amazing composer, and Babsy is wonderful... her voice of course, but also her acting... she really looks so afraid, so sad, and lonely...

Yes markbob120 it's very idiculous lol
Everyone can say what they want, i believe thousands of now-a-day artists would pay billions to have Barabra's voice.
She's a great artist and perfomer.

This song is slightly atypical of Streisand's style. Yes, she goes from soft to loud to soft again, but she usually ends loudest of all. Here she keeps the softness at the end, and it really works. :)

Thanks for posting. I hope it won't get taken off for copyright.

rstarar,

I too am moved by the words that these imbeciles seem too slow-witted to notice. Looking at the sky I seem to see a million eyes. Which ones are yours? How did my simple place leave me? How did the earth turn against me? Just find me in the night, something that I once knew. The elements get so big when you're alone.

I remember everything. The future I am not so sure of.

Just because she is not a Republican like you apparently are? Celebrities have the same right to express their opinion as 'normal' citizens. I mean this in a objective way, but Republicans seem to get ticked off very easily by famous Americans who are openly liberal: much more than the other way round.

No they don't, because celebrities have great influence on our society and many people would vote for whoever they support.

So you are saying most civilians are not intelligent enough to think for themselves?
I agree that many people are being influenced by celebrities, but that proably says more about them than about celebrities expressing their politcal views.
If famous people are not allowed to say what they think and who they vote for it simply conflicts the freedom of speech that people have in a democracy.
