it is part of the routine for the helper to hit the dog.

2 stick hits in schutzhund 1 and 2, 4 in schH 3 - although I think some sticks hits on this video are to keep the dog's paws off the helper.

this is a Brazilian Kennel they raise very nice sport dogs

We like dobermanns with temperament and of course this bloodlines we only get through the working dogs

It´s not schutzhund... We just made this presentation with a guard dog in order to have more breeders in Brazil that liked working proofs, to train their dobes... But in Brazil it was in vain...

Of all the shutzhund events I've seen it was never standard practice for the helper to actually hit the dog. Otherwise this is a pretty good video.
