I will make it short and sweet.... Over the last 10 years I have pretty much funded these annual trips on my own, to go abroad and fly the flag for South Africa and South African big wave surfing and I believe I have done us proud.

After almost decade of hard work, time and dedication to surfing big waves I have been Invited to compete and represent my country alongside the worlds best, in some of the most prestigious big wave events in the world and the only South African to be invited to represent our country for the first ever SUP World Championships in Hawaii.

This year has been tough and getting enough sponsorship together to go over and compete abroad and stay for the duration of the events.
But as South African, we make a plan when things get tough and we find a way...and take on the challenge and find a solution.
So I have set up a fundraiser Hawaiian/Carribean evening with a jazz band, outside Big screen Surf film screening, raffle & an auction on the 11th October @ Banana Jam Cafe. Check out: Fundraiser event page for more info.

I have also set up a page with my banking details, where anyone can make a donation to help me go overseas and compete and represent my country.

At the end of the day, Im proudly South African , Im a Springbok at what I do and all I want to do is go overseas, represent my country, fly the flag and either bring home the trophy or get some great results and have some amazing stories and experiences to share with my friends & countryman.
