Vitor Meira's car erupts in flames during a Pit-Stop. Amazingly, he got back out onto the racetrack without losing any lap!

The moment when he pulled out was just fantastic. Huge cheers all around the track. It was going to be the survival story of the race, too...but we know how that turned out.

Methanol is suposed to be colorless by day light...

they add a very small % of petrol so the flames are visible

They usually put color additives for that, sometimes a small percentage of normal gas.
