-
I wish my tester had actually been that nice. -__-

@viciousazngrl01 Does my car have to have insurance and be registered ?

@ryuouji you could use any car as long it has insurance and registered
-

-

I don't have a car (which is why I'm studying for my license) so could I use my mom's which IS insured? Thank you.

@ryuouji Sure, as long as the tabs/registration are also current.

I have a drivers license from India as well as an International Driving Permit. Can I get a zipcar for my driving test? with all the paperwork+insurance?
ketanjumani1 3 weeks ago
@ketanjumani1 I'm not familiar with zipcars, but I suspect the answer to your question is, "Yes." I know that rental cars can be used by licensed drivers taking the drive test. That might sound confusing to some people, but we have people (such as yourself) who are coming to us with an out of country license and they would be allowed to use a rental car. For a definitive answer to your question, please contact our Customer Service Dept: drivers@dol.wa.gov / 360-902-3900.

Would a high school ID work as the ID?

@neonsunsets Here's a page on our website addressing requirements for teens who want to get a driver license: dol (dot) wa (dot) gov/driverslicense/teens.html
When you go to that page, be sure to check-out the link at #5 as it specifically addresses "proof of identity."
