John, what's a good horizontal, single cylinder engine to start out with? Preferably one that Runs well slow. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
@aaroncoopershea Apologies for not answering earlier. There are so many single cylinder engines available, it is difficult to name just one.
I do find however that the larger engines tend to run more realistically slow than the smaller ones.
It eventually boils down to cost. A small Mamod engine will run slow if it is properly set up, but something like a Stuart S50 will look and sound more like a full-size engine.
That is the most beautiful Jensen 75 I've ever seen.
Glad it belongs to the cave now.
