Thanks...it's tough to admit to something that makes me feel pretty dumb. :-)
I definitely would not recpmmend jumping right into something as extreme as 800 cals. Since my diet was so full of unprocessed foods, I think I was getting enough nutrition for quite awhile. I don't think it's something that can be sustained indefinitely though. The rest of my weight loss is just going to have to be moderate. I hope your feeling better!

Thanks...yep, I'm working on living in a more balanced way now. Part of me is happy to have gotten a big chunk of the weight off, but I need to be healthy in order to enjoy it right?

Anyway I hope you feel better- thanks for being honest. You'll get it figured out, but don't be too hard on yourself...
Yeah, sounds like it was time to change to a sustainable eating and exercise plan. Your extreme regimen had its place but you can't keep that up for life. Time to switch to something you can keep up for life and let the rest of weight come off more slowly if need be. You're smart!

Thanks. I appreciate that you can see the approach I took did have its place. It just got to the point where my body was telling me in no uncertain terms that it was time to cool it. Slow weight loss is harder than I thought it would be, I'm struggling, but I know it's the best way now. :0)

Ahh I just posted a long comment that didn't take... I was wondering if you had thought about going to a nutrionist. I've heard anything under 1200 can be hard on the body especially if you are exercising so much. You will probably have slower weight loss if you up your cals, but slower loss is a lot easier on the body... the nutritionis might help you to get some of your energy back and stay consistant... best of luck

Ah, I would like to see a nutritionist but just can't afford it. I have upped my calories quite a bit...probably too high, but I'm working on evening things out around 1,200-1,500 calories. Now that I have lost so much weight, I think going at a moderate pace is just the thing I need. I'm trying to eat lots of healthy whole foods so tht I'm not tempted to binge on junk. I've cut way back on the cardio too. Best of luck to you too!

What kind of diet are you on? keep up the great work...

No diet in particular...I just kept cutting back over time...replacing junk food with healthy food. I simply try to eat a balanced diet without ignoring any of the four food groups. I have also learned to enjoy being active. I think my competetive nature has helped me to push myself with the exercise.
