  • I never understand why the media blames celebrities and models everyone famous for making teenagers and people feel insecure about their appearance. all i 've seen is 'look at her teeth' why don't people stop being so god damn judgemental. no-one is perfect i bet half the people who have criticized her have something that other people probably think 'ew' about them

  • Who cares about her teeth? Pay attention to how she does the makeup.

  • @suiseiseki2007 The collar the kimono is actually worn so it dips down and exposes the neck. The nape of the neck is considered very attractive.

    a little too white for me, why bother painting the back of your neck? no one would even bother what it looks like....

  • @smartcookie525 there have been examples of americans becoming geisha before. i think it would just depend on how committed you are to being a geisha.

  • The uncolored patch on their necks was considered a sort of turn-on to men, much like a slit on western woman's skirt.

  • Believe it or not, in Japan having crooked teeth is considered attractive. In the western world, yes, her teeth aren't considered attractive or pretty, but in Japan, your teeth might be the ones considered strange.
