@raymieX I don't think that's TVbD editing. I think that's a quick fix at the station.
Also, not sure about that WBAL open. The 3D is amazingly bad. The talent stuff does look like "the style," though.

@videonut33 The designer for that one is Television by Design (Burns' former company — he left in 1987), so yes.
-
Did WBAL pulled a JCBurns effect on the talent sequence at :47?

That WTOL open is another example of how bad TVbD's editing could be in this period when it was time to change anchors at a client station. Look very closely at 6:53 — a "stairstep" repeats itself for a few frames! Also note the placement of the anchor text.

I hope you're just scratching the surface of this archive...

Yessss, another WBBM "MACLENNAN! MACPHERRIN!" era open! Will also love you if we find another KCBS "Action News For ALL of Southern California" intro...

That KNBC "News 4 LA" open that I set apart as deserving special recognition/honorable mention in my note to you of earlier (and thanks for the response): the reason why I believe so is because, unlike WYFF News 4 here, this "News 4 LA" (from graphics, music, and announcer) looked like a very hard-hitting product for its market, as "News 4 New York" truly was for its NYC sister WNBC.

Few notes: The KSDK open is a latter revision with the "WTNCF" text pasted in.
And that KCNC look did not last long. Much-needed revisions were in by 1993, including a new logo. (Of course, the signs would all change again two years later.)
I've been looking for this version of KCNC's news intros. Thanks for posting them. Do you have the morning and noon news intros for KCNC from the next generation that feature David/Jean/Ed or David/Katie/Ed or Reynelda Muse?

@popweaverhdtv Haven't stumbled across that one yet. I'll put it up if I do!
