ABC's 20/20 Exposes Pro Wrestling Part 1 of 2

In 1984, ABC 20/20's Emmy-award winning reporter John Stossel exposed pro wrestling as fake on the network's highly-rated and popular primetime news show.

Checkout former tag team partners "Continental Lover" Eddie Mansfield and "Doctor D" David Schultz in this video, both of whom will be featured guests at the 2011 Georgia Wrestling Legends Fanfest Weekend in Atlanta.

In this video from ABC's 20/20, Mansfield demonstrates the secrets of the trade and even explains how wrestlers cut themselves. "Red turns to green," he said then as he sliced his forehead open.

As for Schultz, we all know what he did when the arrogant reporter claimed the very popular sport was fake...

eddy is just malacious, he was trying to get back at wwe because of the way they treated him, its funny how the 'tougher' side of the business is not acknowledged, like the injuries they suffer in the ring and the amount of pro wrestlers that are in wheelchairs due to the injuries. Sure we could all learn the basic pro wrestling moves in half hour, but the question is can the wrestler peform 300 days a year, without getting injured? I dont think so.

Good for Dr D David Schultz. Stoussel had an agenda. If he could step in the ring with a wrestler and throw a wrestler around then he surely could of taken a couple of open hand slaps. And fuck Barbara Walters. Someone should open hand slap that dyke.
