Now this is really Eastern culture. Beautiful Hindi song from the movie Fiza in 2000. The music video starred Sushmita Sen, the 1994 Miss Universe, but the one who sang the song was Sunidi Chauhan. Filipinos may remember fondly that Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe in Manila when she was only 18 years old. She was 24 years old when she did this video. The Tagalog translation is literal, so some lines that may be idiomatic expressions in Hindi (and may mean something else, e.g., "Painumin mo ako sa iyong mga mata") may be lost, so for that I apologize. I really just like this song a lot and I wanted to share it with Filipinos.
