I listened to this song one night while I was painting, just thinking. I was thinking about how this song is about someone who committed suicide, about how I can relate to those kinds of feelings. Then I was thinking about the part where he mentions Mephistopheles, a demon, and that night I had a horrible nightmare about the devil coming for me. And I'm an atheist, so it's pretty weird. Now every time I hear this song, it has this physical effect on me where I freak out and start crying. idk man
