YOU MUCH HAVE QPST AND QXDM OPEN AT THE SAME TIME WITH THE PORTS CONFIGRED IN QPST CONFIG. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY FOR THE TARGET TO SHOW THE COM PORT YOUR PHONE IS CONNECTED TO IT. LIKE THIS POST SO EVERYONE CAN SEE IT. YOUR WELCOME.

I followed the instructions completely. Got the 3G icon as well. However, I cant get passed the activation process. Without the activation, I cant use the phone at all. It tells me "Your activation could not be completed. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service". How can I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have zeroed out meid and esn and read meid and esn and it worked. However, when i try to write meid i get an error saying "Error response received from target". What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciatedx10!!! Thank you.

There's nothing illegal in possession the tools mentioned here. And the whole process no more illegal than flashing your own ROM if it's done with phones you physically possess.

@addicted2money615 thankyou sir :). ah. so changing the MEID is illegal. and also the use of the software to change the MEID by a consumer. but, if the carrier will accept the phone openly then its ok. am i right?

@chrisprattmt if you follow this method you are changing the SPRINT DEVICES MEID AKA THE SERIAL NUMBER **THIS IS THE ILLEGAL PART IT IS CALLED CLONING REFER TO THE FCC AND THE Wireless Telephone Protection Act of 1998.USING A SPRINT PHONE ON BOOST IS NOT ILLEGAL IF YOU GET THEM TO ACTIVACTE THE MEID THE PHONE MANUFACTURER PROGRAMMED INTO THE SPRINT PHONE. FURTHERMORE IT IS TECHNICALLY AGAINST THE LAW FOR YOUR COMMON PERSON TO POSSESS QXDM, DFS CDMA TOOLS, AND ANY OTHER SOFTWARE TO CHANGE AN MEID

THIS METHOD IS AGAINST UNITED STATES FEDERAL LAW....IT IS CALLED HANDSET CLONING.... IF YOU FOLLOW THIS METHOD SPRINT NEXTEL CORP. AKA THE OWNER OF BOOST WILL CATCH ON AND YOU MAY BE SUED AND COULD RECEIVE A RATHER LONG FEDERAL SENTENCE.
