@blurays7 Well said, but I would also like to add Matthew 25:1-13 as another scripture about the Rapture. It has NOTHING to do with a Jewish Wedding as so many have been told. 10 Virgins = 10 Christians . Bridegroom = Jesus Christ . The Bridegroom is gone a LONG time and the Christians were told to be READY..NOT to be part of this world. Ooops Bridgroom comes, the 5 Foolish are LEFT BEHIND - Jesus SHUTS the door (of Rev. 4:1) on them - NO WEDDING BANQUET for them. Revelation 19:7-10

@insanity23mike ; there is a divide in christian belief here, some believe in rapture likely because they are scared of the graphic nature prophetically spoken of by Jesus of the end, and so would rather believe that they will escape it, then others say that we the christian will be here till the very end.

Israel will not disappear into History this time. Israel will always be there now until time ends. It will also be enlarged to 10 or 20 times its size it is now.

As a christian it makes no sense whatsoever for the church to be fighting over the rapture as to whether it will happen or not. No sense. Having said this it will HURT you if you are left here for not believing the rapture, then it will hurt those who believe it. The Smart prepare for tribulation, whether not there is a rapture. Wish I could say the same for vice versa- Smart prepare for the rapture.

Some will DIE for the name Christ in the last days. SOME of The people LEFT on earth(Not raptured) will die for Christ's name. Remeber Christ will keep us OUT OF(rapture!!!!!!!!) not through that moment of testing which will come upon the whole earth.

1 thessalonians 4: 16-18 is the rapture picture among others. Do not believe the lie of satan that there is no rapture. My words are little on this, but God's promise is not. He keeps his promises. The rapture will come.

i was all into this, and then word rapture popped on the screen and I was like "awwww no", Christians will NOT be raptured, they will be martyred, just look at revelation 6:9-11 and 7:14. "When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the people slaughtered because of God’s word and the testimony they had." "they were told to rest a little while longer until the number would be completed of their fellow slaves and their brothers, who were going to be killed just as they had been."

@Danceswithcats111 Jesus defeated Satan at the cross because He took the keys of death, hell, and the grave from Satan.Well I also am looking forward to the glorious appearing of Jesus, every Christian should be. That is why it is so important that we get our loved ones into the kingdom before the door is shut. Yes I study the Bible.True Christians believe the Bible and live by what it says. There are too many hypocrites in churches today but I'd go to church with them than burn with them.

@1954phyllis That is just it, the the Prince of Peace is ruling..did He defeat satan or not on the cross? It is us the body who is not doing enough here..not loving enough, not caring enough, but only begging to be taken off the earth. The church is not even loving it's own members enough, much less the worldly. Do we study the bible to even know what it really says..or do we just let men tell us what it what it says? There are way to many conflicting beliefs among christians.
