I saved the best for last. The very first Push-pull/cabcar ever built. It's WABCO AA2 horn sounds just like the arrow 3 cars of NJT. This is the last of the IRM series. Hope you enjoyed it.

  • Where is this. I notice interurban trolley wires. Are they energised at 600, 1200 or 1500v dc?

  • This was at the Illinois Railway Museum at Union, Illinois outside Chicago. Those trolley poles have been there for a long time, and from what I think, they're charged at about 600 volts. They run a lot of streetcars the museum.

  • nothing beats the sound of an old streamliner ..wonderfull resoration....

  • We rode that train soon after that.

  • wow thats cool ive never seen one like that

  • You should go out to Chicago sometime. I went there last year.

  • favorit gue dan PT Kereta Api Indonesia

    ada di CC201, CC203 bahkan CC204

hear on u5m417, rendraswariyanhabib and all indonesian railfans

  • I rode these from Mt. Prospect to the Loop 5 days a week from 1965 thru 1970. The best coaches were the St. Louis Car Co., which I believe were the first used in 1956. They had larger windows than the Pullmans and the clickity-clack rail joint noises were louder in the coaches. The best place to ride was between the compartments or at the very front window inbound in the (cough, cough) smoking car.

  • How nice...no ditch lights, a real bubble gum machine on top, and a smooth 567, HEAR HEAR!!

  • Other equipment with AA-2 air horns: The MU's of CA&E, North Shore, South Shore, Reading, P&W Bullets, and SEPTA Budd and St. Louis Silverliners.

  • um buddy read your comment and tell me what u did wrong.

  • I actually don't think it sounds like the NJT horns these are the actual horns they use on the NJT Arrow III cars.

  • I realy love the sound of them old streamliners and the horns too VERY KOOL

  • The WABCO aa2 horn is my favorite one.
