Short film made during "The fundamentals of directing" course at UCLA Extension. Shooting time was 3 hours. Please leave your comments! They really mean a LOT to me. Thanks for watching!

  • ¡Eh, Pablo! Perdí tu rastro y lo encontré acá, está bueno el corto. Los tres actores son buenosy los encuadres están bien, yo editaría los tiempos muertos, a veces parece que se toman tiempo de más y creo que se le pueden sacar varios segundos. En el pasillo tocan un par de veces los límites del campo de la cámara, pero es un detalle. Voy a seguir viendo más de tu galería.

  • Gracias! No voy a editarlo pero los comentarios son buenos. :-)

  • What software did you use to do the morph effect?

  • I believe it was an After Effects morph plugin, if I remember correctly it was RE:Flex.

  • Thanks for the quick response! So how did you direct this? At my school, they make us not use any adjectives or emotions -- only command by verb actions, which is kind of ridiculous and I never really understood it. So do they grade you on cinematography for this project too? Did you have to find actors yourself or do you get to cast from the theater department?

  • Command verbs are very powerful, you should really try to learn them because they will make your life, and your actor's life, much easier ;-)

I was graded on the whole thing, including cinematography and sound. Short was shot in half a day if I remember correctly. I did my own casting. If you're in LA there's a few online casting websites.
