    Are there any live steam railroads that are used as actual railroads; like for hauling freight or passengers from point A to point B to make a profit?

    Didn't Norman Sandly start this operation around his machine shop? I have a shield from his Wood and Water steam driven pickup truck that he had hoped one day to tour the country with. Obviously that never happened. He certainly built some magnificent machines and I did at one time consider going to work for him as a machinest.  Great stuff.....
