  • Indeed. The throw is slow and soft because the attack is. Aikido is all about using the attacker's momentum against them. Of course the attacker can attack faster/stronger. But that would end up hurting the attacker a lot.

  • Learned these techniques after the Rodney King beating. (Not much of a beating). It works, I assure you. Take a class for free locally. You will see. Nikkyo is very painful. Works great in police work.

  • Wow..I will use it if am ever attacked by a bear

  • Is there a technique for when they bearhug under the arms, or under one arm and over the other? I assume it would be similar but I was curious.

  • have you tried it on a 6'2" 300 pound man thats out to break you? good luck...

  • Very effective technique

  • head butt to the nose as hard as you can will blacken both his eyes and cause tears.

finish him off with straight punch to the chin for the knockout.

    no fancy moves needed here.

  • give him a head butt with the back or top of your head. hit him in the face. it's the top or back of your head versus his face

  • LOL if you hurt ur self with a head but your not doing it right

  • @str8bigr1 Cops can't use lethal force unless its being used against them, so if someone is just running they arent allowed to simply start firing their guns to kill. And anyone who is willing to try and kill a cop is not in a mindset where prison time or death is a very intimidating consequence. Cops always assume the worst, a jury conviction or court sentencing doesn't help a dead cop.

  • @tsunaxkun Most aikido techniques will fail if you don't recieve training in person, not to mention this isn't a traditional aikido attack. Traditional aikido attacks focus on stopping a person from drawing their weaponry, front bear hugging someone like this would of got you stabbed by a knife in most cases.

  • Steven Seagal is the master of Aikido
