Kingbuns brings you a guide that demonstrates how different angles affect the damage output of RPG, SMAW, tank shells on an M1 Abrams (also the same damage model as the T-90).

He also teaches you a little trick on how to properly repair your tank if it has had its reactive armor blown off. In order to get back a blown off panel of reactive armor you must go to which ever side has lost it and start repairing from there.

He also shows you that your vehicle will blow up at a certain distance if you walk away from it. If you get out of your vehicle and stay within that circle radius the vehicle will never blow up on its own.

the best way i kill a tank is to use guided shell. i first shoot the main cannon, then lock on and shoot the guided missle, then switch back to main cannon and shoot. it can kill a tank very quicklyy

Ya that is a very effective way. We have some videos of us doing that.

How about side shots angled from the back instead of the front, is it still just 22 dmg?

After the patch almost all damage to takes has increased i think. But the angling of shots still changes the damage done. So the numbers in the video might be off now but the concept of angling still applies.

Honestly, I'm trying to find an explanation for why, but I hit BTR-90's, LAVs, anything right in the rear 3 times to get a disable... What the hell is with that.

in real life , there is no reactive armor in the rear

just saying, this isn't a complete guide...rpg damage doesn't just matter with which side was hit, distance matters as well, just as in real life

try shooting the guided shell first, since it takes the longest to reload, shooting it first then shooting your AP shell will give it longer to reload, if that makes sense
