Kingbuns brings you a guide that demonstrates how different angles affect the damage output of RPG, SMAW, tank shells on an M1 Abrams (also the same damage model as the T-90).

He also teaches you a little trick on how to properly repair your tank if it has had its reactive armor blown off. In order to get back a blown off panel of reactive armor you must go to which ever side has lost it and start repairing from there.

He also shows you that your vehicle will blow up at a certain distance if you walk away from it. If you get out of your vehicle and stay within that circle radius the vehicle will never blow up on its own.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Do this test because it will be interesting ;) get a friend of yours to drive a tank at full speed (with turbo) in a straight line at you. Then shoot him with another tank. It should disable the tank straight away (not sure if it does it to reactive armour). I don't know if it's a glitch or the tank shell just ignores the tank armour because of the speed.

It can't just be me who thinks this (I'm a tank whore) but I think the Russian tank Is better then the Abrahams because it feels slightly easier to control and less bulky compared to the American tank. I know both tanks take the same amount of damage but the width and length of the RU tank, gives It that advantage.

@fozzarooo I don't really have a preference they both feel similar to me. But the Russian T90 looks smaller so it probably has an advantage there.

@fozzarooo same but its true that in climbing a hill on for example caspian border, the t90 can climb without turbo and get goor speed while the abrahams needs turbo to just barely get up at all. plus the t90 has a speed advantage, try a drag race lol!

This was on BF3 wiki "Note that new panels do not provide protection. Replacing them is merely cosmetic."

@ModernEditors i have reative armor on my tank and the emeny has some nasty a** RPG's because my reative armor sucks =(
