@Dugger1997 Gaming sucks now. All people do is play this stupid ass call of duty. Want a cool fps? Play doom, or wolfenstien 3d. Those were awesome.

@boffan1988 honestly, I prefer the stories in the 90's games than those current ones. Most of them nowadays are just something stupid about russian ultranationalists, or aliens. >.> Although, there's still a few good ones every once in a while.

I think Pete has a great point about how there was a wider range of creativity with the characters(as well as environments) when the graphics were still more like traditional animation and not the 'realistic' graphics of today. The entire nature of games has changed since then. Games went from being just that, GAMES to these stories we play in which it's kind of like we're living out a movie.

Let's face it, in terms of storytelling ability, graphics etc. as well as freedom to do a wider variety of shit in the game...videogaming has improved vastly since the 90s(and I'm a 90s kid). We all have nostalgia for that magical decade in which we grew up. Of course, there were things from back then that were genuinely better.

@BullyScholarshipWii It's not their fault. A new generation of gamers has came up now who never knew 2D gaming at all, unlike us Millenials. We also came up before the rise of first person shooters. It's all Halo and CoD to these kids.

@Dugger1997 but you're like in 1997, I played all those games and watched those tvshows/cartoons/music Sure I wasn't a teen in that time period but I'm still glad I was able to enjoy those things before things went to crap
