During the Tet offensive in 1968 the Vietcong captured the city of Hue ...The only pockets of resistance were the MACV compound and the ARVN base...The city centre though was under communist control...The Vietcong came with lists and executed thousands of people ...Their victims were catholic priests ,government officials and many other innocent civilians..Ho chi Minh claimed he was a nationalist above all but that doesnt explain the fact that he killed people for not being communists...
