I love Adam, but Johnny Cash songs need to be sung with that deep, gruff sound. This sounds like Ballywood (Tunak Tunak Tun).

@dannoj98 Thanks, that was neat. I have to admit to like Adam's version better but that's just personal opinion as I like his voice. I did remember that he had said it was a version he heard while looking up the song.

@JirelCahil check out the originator of this version, Dilana from rockstar supernova... the video is on youtube. also, you'll notice Adam says on the american idol video that he "got the idea" from somewhere else. pretty awesome too, but they both rock it.

@soulsong4ever That is what I always thought regarding this version of the song. Johnny Cash worked with Trent Reznor and was so willing to try something new and different. I wager he would have loved that someone took his song and went somewhere new with it.

I LOVE THIS SONG I THINk hes done a brilliant amazing version the arabesueinfluence makes the song so warm and differnt ....I am fan of jonny cash and you gotta remmber he was one cool dude, probaly the coolest in country music so i reckon hed be like yeh. x

When I was a kid, my gym had the words "Ring of Fire" around the top. I grew up listening to Johnny Cash singing it. I LOVE this version. It is soo different. Cool!
