I wish people would mention Yoko Shimomura more often when the theme is (Video Game) Composers. She is truly inspiring. I also wish they did orchestra shows around the world, just playing Kingdom Hearts songs. I love rock and electronica, but man, a Kingdom Hearts orchestra would top any other concert. My 9 year old, boysband loving self would be amazed to find out that my actual favourite song is this one.

This made me fall in love with Dirge of the Fourteenth all over again. I shed a tear the first time I saw Xion's death scene and heard this play in the background. This arrangement of it is so beautiful that I feel like I'm about to shed another.
