It's because, Step Up is from the movie. So, they normally use the same lyrics from the movie.

its because they use something called the corus effect in the music buisness were they bring the recorded track up for the chorus so it will boost there vocals. unfortunatly the only recorded version is with raven so thats why you can hear her
