this piece is normally played on Violin and is an adaptation of Johann Sebastian Bach's famous Air from his Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, BWV 1068, written for his patron Prince Leopold sometime between the years 1717 and 1723.

The title comes from violinist August Wilhelmj's late 19th century arrangement of the piece for violin and piano. By transposing the key of the piece from its original D major to C major, Wilhelmj was able to play the piece on only one string of his violin, the G string.

Ho I love the piano you have! Sorry i know it's your lover! lol! Just that i've heard many time that piece. And in the circonstance the bass notes have a strong but contain resonnance that helps carry the melody. Wich a grand can offer. And because of that it make's your felt interpretation even more grand. You have the soul.
