Yes. Please make a video about your point of views of Rotary!
I'm planning to be an exchange student in Japan in 2012-2013 & I thought about going with them! :)
So Please make a Review about that program! :) ♥

I was moved districts as well due to the proximity to the power plant.
From Gunma to Sapporo; huge difference!
But I am grateful that they switched me rather than cancel my exchange.

@HokkaidoClaudia That is a really big distance!
I feel the same however, I am very thankful they did not cancel my exchange.

are you allowed to travel around the country by yourself/with friends/with host family? I heard that you couldn't unless you had a crazy amount of permission from the Rotary Club, but then I saw a blog and a girl travelled from Austria(host country) to Italy to go shopping with a friend. does it just depend on the club? I want to apply to go somewhere in Europe, and since the countries are so close together I wanted to be able to travel around a lot.

@philosophicalnever It depends on your host club. If you're going with your host family then it is more /lenient/ ? You cannot travel out of the country while on exchange is what I was told. It might work differently in europe because rotary offers several "Eurotours" for the kids going to europe.
