We salvaged a very nice roll top desk replica with four draws in it. The draws had been severely overloaded, and some of the bottoms had been broken out. Well i have been repairing furniture for a life time and doing it inexpensively in the bargain. I am going to pass these little skills along because they can help you save money and also, if you like, you can make extra money by salvaging and repairing furniture. It's a nice simple and relaxing passtime, and it's all just common sense. Salvage is also a great way to get a micro home for practically free. The sidewalks are littered with free furniture ,sliding glass doors, pallets and discarded lumber. Don't be bashful, go for it! You can actually build and furnish a micro home for free. Lost your job and maybe your home -- get out there and reinvent yourself! I did it at 62 and so can you!

  • Very useful. Yes, as you say, "common sense", but not many folks have it or even share it, and you do. Looking forward to more great vids -- Thanks!

  • The word is "drawer." Buy a dictionary...or go back to school.
