Marion Barry on Reelblack TV

Reelblack's Bianca M. White was on the red carpet for the World Premiere of THE NINE LIVES OF MARION BARRY at the Silverdocs Film Festival in Silver Spring, MD. In addition to its subject, we also spoke with filmmakers Dana Flor and Toby Oppenheimer, who spent seven years putting together this documentary, which sheds light on the personality of the 60s Civil Rights leader and mayor of Washington DC, who overcame scandal to win a fourth term in the early 1990s. Film premieres exclusively on HBO on August 10, 2009 with DVD to follow.

You should have asked the Hard questons like "did he ever tell you why he smoked the Crack?" Did Mr Barry ever show up to his office high on Crack?

OR ask him "sir now that you nolonger smoke CRACK, do you view yourself as a quitter?" No one likes a quitter Barry.

Ask around the city and see how many people have been hit by Barry's limo when he was mayor; with Barry and his driver intoxicated.

If you believe that Marion Barry is the only political official to ever use cocaine... you are wrong. He's just the only one to be set up. The female he was dating at the time had warrents out for her arrest. Police bribed her, that either she helps them get dirt on Marion, or go 2 jail herself. They were in the hotel room to fuck, not smoke crack. She told him he had to hit the pipe if he wanted sum pussy. Marion is addicted to pussy, not crack. Hell, he'd swim through a shit creek 2 get sum.
