Pagan/Wiccan Speech

This is a speech I gave to my COMS 5 class at CSUS. I was persuading them to stop seeing witches as the generic stereotype and view them as normal, peaceful people.

I got cut off from my ending, which was urging Wiccans to come "out of the broom closet". I also had a joke:

Why are Pagans the best friends to have? Because they worship the ground you walk on! (ROTFL)

Any book by Silver Ravenwolf would be good. Honestly, the wiccan path is about finding your own belief system...whatever feels right, embrace it. Follow your intuition. The best thing about being Pagan is the ability to create your own religion...it's about YOU and the SPIRIT. If it feels right. it is right...

Well I watched your video, just wanted to say you have a good basic concept of what wicca is. I would suggest that you continue to study. Because where you said that the concept of wicca being a monotheistic faith, in some traditions that could be true. But you should have included that there are many other cultures and faiths that don't share the monotheistic idea that the God and Goddess are two half's of the same God.

@Whitebafflosky I've been Pagan for 12 years. I am aware of the different beliefs. I based my speech off of my OWN beliefs because it was a 7 minutes speech for a class. I have a great concept on Wicca.

Merry Meet i want to thank u for making your video's on wicca. i use to be a christian but left the christian way and came over to the wiccan pagan ways in septemeber of this year i am now taking online magicka class and studying all i can so i love it when i come across wiccan video's i do hope u will keep on making them :-) Blessed Be in Peace Love and Light.
