Just prior to Live Aid, on July 4, 1985, Hall & Oates performed at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey as part of the Liberty Concert, where they played an outdoor benefit concert for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty. It became a major music event drawing an estimated crowd of over 60,000 people.

I was there 25 years ago, was amazing & incredible concert I remeber the hot day,

@NYtoTX Yeah, so full of energy & never lets up the entire show. I remember when I saw them on this tour, security had to come & literally pull Daryl off the stage. He was so hyped up I'm surprised he didn't pass out from exhaustion.

also i just wanna know where the **** he gets those xtra long coil cables from!? the longest ones i can find are only 30 ft.His have gotta be at least 50- 100 to stretch across the stage like that! if you use a few pedals you can get some slack off the 30 footers..... I like them cause they sound great nd they dont bunch up like a straight cable. I dont think he uses them anymore though

@uscfchess. thats the truth. hes now w Roger Waters and sounds as good as ever! i've had this ever since i was 3 when it came on HBO and that was it. I had no idea it was their finale show. but what a way to end an awesome 4 years on the road with the fireworks later on during Hot fun In the summerime. they didnt have to do many covers but the ones they chose ... they really brought out the flavor! And this song GE rippin away on the solo, this is why hes the greatest to me!
