OK I'm acually a bit embarrased that got so harsh and childish here. Yes its my opinion and no one asked. As a german i'm just a little upset that my country doesn't produce relevant metal bands as it used to and clings to the near past so much, not sensing where the music is going and whats happening in the scene.

Yeah but the melodies are pure suger and the sound is so overproduced this could be from 2003. Sounds like the worst part of power metal mixed with the worst parts of millenium metal/metalcore. That equals shit i my humble opinion. I would check for diabetes after this;) Oh and your list of bands represents exactly what I see as outdated plastic metal. Its not like back in the 2000s. Now the old school reigns supreme! Break the chains!

Hmm I would consider Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Darkthrone, Death, Celtic Frost, Merciful Fate, Venom, Dissection and a ton of underground bands that none here in the overground would know real metal. Acually I think palm muting is the first step to fuck it up (yeah i know death use it a lot, expeption rule:). Worst technique ever!

Pure cheese? It's melodic and pretty damn technical. I've been playing guitar for nearly 9 years and singing for over 3 years, and I could never write anything like this. My favourite bands are completely different to this, such as Miss May I, The Plot In You, While She Sleeps, Parkway Drive, As I Lay Dying etc. but I think these guys are incredible. This is real metal at it's finest, whether you like it or not.
