Ah, I know where you've gone wrong, Paul. In the red key area, there's a lighter-coloured wall an your left that you run past at 6:37. There's a switch in there or something which makes the sections of wall either side of it open, with Cacodemons inside. Or maybe you just have to run in there and they open by themselves. Can't remember exactly...

Wow, you stood and fought the chaingunners across the large grassy space without getting the partial invisibility in the "window room". I usually find that partial invisibility necessary to fight them.
