Dirt 2 is for kid ... DiRT 2 Doesn't have much same things as real world... just look at the menu... how can be a famous rally driver have to stay in RV?? and not all cars/ sponsors is same as real world..... for me DiRt 2 is more fun but its looks like for kids... like extreme effect or any... DiRt 3 is more simulator which that for adult like gran turismo, Forza, Shift etc. i think the real rally driver more choose the exclusive one, Dirt 3...

Drit 3 the roads are 6m wide, not super exciting ! in Dirt 2 the roads are more technical with my Driving Force GT

Drit 3 with pad is all the time fully ! :-(

On console am very disappointed about Dirt3.

Dirt 1 got better driving experience, Dirt 2 got better graphics (in my opion) and better environments (like Vietnam, much better than Finland wich looks for me PS2 HD Colin).

And Dirt3 got annoying menu, first time is ok, but several time its boaring waiting for the effects ends, and always i open a new cahllenge start speak a grol and a guy how cool i am, annoying than Dirt 2 Ken hype menu...

Very big dissapointment!!!

Dirt 3 got boring real quick w/ all the "oh let's just use the same location but make the track go backwards so it feels new"...tracks.

Dunno which is better. They are different. Dirt 2 is a better game in my opinion, dirt 3 is a bit too.... Modern. And to simple. I mean the menu and thing. And these colours... Not rally colours... Teal and purple...bah...

@Gwee2008 of course reality is better, but think about the fact that there are many add-ons, many updatet by their creators and some cars come with soundfiles recorded from the real thing, not sounding as bad as shift 2 for example. Some people out there seem to have contact to the real cars and try to adapt the models to the real thing as close as possible. Last time I saw dirt 3 for under 16€+delivery I'll think about it although I read at least braking was too arcade i don't find mods.
