Name one moral thing that a nonbeliever can't do that a christian can. Now, on the other hand I can quickly name many non-moral things christians have done in the name of their god!

I was wondering, can you give me current Christian atrocities, as in Christians killing people as a group or as a country in the last two decades? Like maybe Tripura, Nagaland, Croatian C.W and such, can you briefly list me all of them please?
-
@jamcalglo yes but the point is that the reason they didnt discover germs sooner was because the catholic church had all the people who disagreed with them killed -- many of them who were scientist
-
@badpanda84 It wasn't just the catholic church, everybody fucking thought that they were some unknown mystical things that were going on when you got sick back in the day until they actually discovered there were germs.

When you name individuals like Aryaan Hirshi Ali in a list of people positively contributing to society, I find it hard to take your list seriously at all. She's very influential indeed, but she's also a pawn of the corporate elite who uses lies and distortions regarding the Islamic world to help make Samuel Huntington's "Clash of Civilisation" a reality. She's more of a scourge than a positive influence for the world, really.

If it wasnt for atheist we would still be beliving demons cause diease ( and not germs) because that is what the catholic church said.. for instance.

@salvadoraugustus Right unless you read about the tower of babel, the flood, Sodam and Gomorrah, the countless wars he commanded the Israelite's to lead etc, etc, etc, etc... allllllll destruction you conveniently forgot right?

Why do need a contribution?

Atheist contribution...sanity.

You just used one of the best theatrical rock bands to promote your cause against atheism? SZhat zat a zreally good idea?
not god did bad things on earth ,,,human did ...and some of them used the word religion for their own plans ,... well.. an atheism world is like making sex with ur son who is 10 years old and thats ok...because there is no sin on that. because there is no god !!! ....for this reason atheism is mental problem

salvadoraugustus, are you saying you only do good deeds and avoid certain evil deeds because you believe there is a God?
Don't you really understand what is good and bad without a God?
And what is sin and why does it matter?

with out god a sin is something comfortable for u but uncomfortable for others ,.. with god there is bad things and good things ,....maybe u ask me why god create or why not destroy evil\devil...well....i dont know how evil was born...is hard to understand ....but what we know is that god dont destroy ...because gos is truth god jsut create things

salvadoraugustus,
I would not ask that, but I asked what is sin and now I ask why is it comfortable to me without God?

your question is interesting.
I am a Christian and i also ask similar questions, why is good, good? what makes a bad thing bad? I don't know, but i refuse to assume that lack of a reason for these questions mean there is no good or bad. i just keep searching. dont think we can ever wrap our heads around it though so i just rely on God's guidance and i have no problem abiding by His rules. just sharing my opinion.

wirechair,
I think that if we understand what's the meaning of "it is good for me", "it is bad for me", "it is good for them" and "it is bad for them", then we may understand what's the meaning of good and bad in the moral context (understanding does not mean there's a reason, though). If a God exists and He's good, than he's good for His creation. If you're morally good, you're good for others.
Thanks for your opinion. :-)
